Localization Support
The localization support provided by the framework includes several aspects:
All applied solution configuration texts are stored in a database in
UNICODE format. This format allows using characters from different languages
at a time. Thereby a user can enter data in various languages, for example if an
item description should include some text in the language of the manufacturer.
The system also allows performing filtration and sorting across such texts.
International Dates and Numbers Support
Included for most European languages.
At that, settings used in a database may be set by an administrator other than
the default system settings.
Two Variants of the Script Language
At present all
operators in the script language have Russian and English spellings. No additional modifications
required – both variants are equally accepted by the system.
Accompanying documentation for the software is available in Russian or English. Multilingual supplemental description files and bilingual (English-Russian) Syntax Assistant functionality included in the software installation kit.

Localization Support in the Script Language
There are
functions for:
- Getting a string in a relevant language from a set of pre-defined strings
in different languages.
- Formatting numbers according to standard formats of a country selected;
generating a report in a language specified.
- Numbers and periods spelling functionality for the following languages:
Russian, English, Byelorussian, Bulgarian, Estonian, Finnish, Georgian,
German, Kazakh, Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian and
Vietnamese.
Multilingual business application interface. One can create
multilingual applied solutions, thanks to the possibility of using additional
localized interfaces. With them, the following localized interface items are
possible: system menu, dialogs, messages, help. See also the 'Language
objects' section.
Applied solution localization. There is a tools for rapid localization
of applied solutions in 1C:Enterprise. It allows localizing and translating all occurrences of a
string in an applied solution configuration, replacing it or just adding a
translation into the configuration.
