1C:Enterprise 8 Framework Mechanisms for Data Exchange
The 1C:Enterprise 8 framework offers
diverse possibilities for data exchange and application integration.
Web-extension, which is a separate software product, extends the scope of 1C:Enterprise 8 application. It allows
arranging Web-access to an application functionality for newer categories of users, including those
without the installed framework.
Web-services are the platform
native tools to support SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture). This architecture is a modern
integration standard of applications and information systems. The 1C:Enterprise 8 system can be a Web-service
provider, as well as a client of Web services published by other providers.
The 1C:Enterprise 8.0. PDA Extension
software extends the scope of 1C:Enterprise 8 to handheld devices. It provides a possibility to operate with 1C:Enterprise 8 information base data on handheld computers and communicators, as well as on personal computers (including laptops) that do not have direct
connection to 1C:Enterprise 8 information bases.
The mechanism of distributed
information bases
in 1C:Enterprise 8 framework is designed for creation of geographically distributed systems,
basing on identical
applied solutions. The mechanism allows transferring data as well as infobase configuration changes.
The 1C:Enterprise 8 platform provides a possibility to
integrate with almost any external software and equipment
basing on generally acknowledged open standards and protocols for data transmission.
